- Extracted, analyzed and visualized social media data using Reddit API and Python to support social listening, sentiment analysis and topic insights for health and wellness client

Predicting March Madness with Machine Learning, Foundations of Machine Learning (January 2025 - May 2025)
- Built supervised machine learning model (XGBoost) to predict NCAA March Madness outcomes using historical team and game data from 2003–2024.
- Engineered matchup-level features (e.g., differential win percentage, shooting efficiency, rebounds) to capture dynamics between competing teams.

Tableau Semantic Filtering Extension for Federal Agencies, IT Concepts, Inc. dba Kentro (June 2024 - August 2024)
- Reached proof of concepts on semantic filter Tableau extension, utilizing deep learning models such as Transformer language models (e.g. GPT) and TensorFlow for natural language processing, and authored internal white papers
- Presented to stakeholders including executive committee and demonstrated product capabilities of enabling more intuitive and advanced filtering through free-form text for federal agencies such as Social Security Administration, Veterans Affairs, and DIA
- Leveraged Agile method to drive project milestones on cross-functional team of three data scientists and two software engineers

Learning Management System Database, Forge (May 2024 - May 2024)
- Determined and presented best database architecture for learning management database to store and track courses, students, and grade information

College, tuition, diversity and pay, Forge (May 2024 - May 2024)
- Provided data-driven recommendations to college students by modeling colleges’ financial value scores and ranking top on-campus value colleges for different income levels
- Visualized trends in campus diversity, expected salary and tuition
These visualizations I made supports JP Morgan’s analysis that the typical family needs investments with long-term growth potential to outpace tuition inflation


Overcrowding in Dog Adoption Centers,Database Management Systems and Business Intelligence (January 2024 - May 2024)
- Created fictional SQL database to address overcrowding in dog adoption centers post-COVID-19 pandemic
- Presented business problem, ERD and Relational Schema, database capabilities and queries, and data visualization along with four other students

The Effects of Working from Home on Labor Productivity , Introduction to Econometrics (January 2023 - May 2023)
- Received A on 21-page econometric research paper investigating effects of working from home on labor productivity
- Analyzed economic data and evaluated appropriateness of models to run regressions in Stata
- Prioritized and managed tasks and communicated with team members to coordinate schedules over course of semester

Data Analysis of MLB Player Aaron Judge’s Statistics, Introduction to Data Science with R (January 2023 - May 2023)
- Received A+ after presenting 10-week long final project with two other team members
- Cleaned and manipulated data with over 300 observations and 92 variables and analyzed numerical and categorical variables
- Generated data visualization based on different variables including bar graphs, box plots, scatter plots, and word clouds
- Predicted outcomes based on K-Nearest Neighbor Classification and using both multiple linear and logistic regression

Additional group projects include Exploring Main Topics in Student Course Reviews at Waterloo University, Assessing the Financial Impact of Tornadoes in Minnesota Using Time Series Data, and Implementing Similar Image Search Across Fashion Images Using CNN-Based Autoencoder, all apart of DS 4002 (Fall 2024).
